Have you encountered a screen lock issue with your IPC-9800 Pro series, preventing you from accessing the system?
After setting a lock screen password on your IPC-9800Pro series CCTV tester, the next time you try to access the system, you will find that there is no confirmation or enter button after entering the password on the lock screen, preventing you from entering the system. See the image below:

Solution:
Case 1: If you have not yet set a lock screen password, please do not attempt to set one directly, otherwise the device will be locked and you will be unable to access the system. You can update your tester first. After the update is complete, you can then set a lock screen password for your tester.
Method for updating the tester: (Note: It is recommended to perform steps 1 and 2 on a computer, and step 3 on the tester.)
step1) Click the URL[ https://mega.nz/file/Qaox2Zbb#TqCOuEQX5br7TRAa5FaCkyh1nkaddjFATj2bN0_OQic ] to download the update file (UpdateData_KXUpdateLockScreen_20251224.zip). Note: Do not decompress the update file; use the ZIP file directly for the update.
step2) Place this file in the "update" folder on the tester's TF card. If there is no folder named "update" in the root directory of the TF card, please create one.
step3) Insert the TF card into the tester, open the tester's "Update" function, and install this update package in "Local Update". After the installation is complete, it is recommended that you delete the update file from the TF card.
Case 2: If you have already set a lock screen password and encountered the situation shown in the image above, preventing you from accessing the system, the solution in Case 1 will not work. You need to contact us for assistance in accessing the system and then upgrading your tester. Please contact our after-sales support email at service@rsrteng.com, and provide your tester model, serial number, and a screenshot of the order for this tester. We will help you resolve this issue.
